Samajwadi Party MLA Pooja Pal was expelled from the party on Thursday from the Chail of Kaushambi. Pooja Pal has been expelled from SP at a time when she has praised CM Yogi in the assembly. Pooja Pal’s husband Raju Pal was murdered in Prayagraj (then Allahabad) in 2005. Mafia Atik Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were accused of murder. Referring to the murder of her husband in the assembly, Pooja Pal said that CM Yogi has given me justice by punishing my husband’s killers.
However, Pooja Pal was isolated from SP since the Rajya Sabha elections. In the Rajya Sabha election, eight MLAs, including Pooja Pal, revolted from the SP and conducted cross voting in favor of BJP. Four of these eight MLAs were expelled from the party in the last days. Now Pooja Pal has been taken out at a time when she has openly praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On the question asked about the four MLAs expelled from the party and not taking any action on others, then Akhilesh Yadav said that the remaining MLAs have been given a chance to improve. On Thursday, in the letter contacted from Akhilesh Yadav’s signature, Pooja Pal has been accused of being involved in anti -party activities.
In the letter addressed to Pooja Pal, it is written that AAP joined anti -party activities. You were alerted about this. Even after this, activities did not stop. Due to this, the party has suffered a lot of damage. The work done by you is anti -party and serious indiscipline. Therefore, you are expelled with immediate effect from Samajwadi Party. Along with this, you are also removed from all the posts of Samajwadi Party. It is also written that you will not participate in any party program or meeting etc. nor will you be called.
Pooja Pal’s husband Raju Pal was murdered as soon as he became an MLA
Pooja Pal’s husband Raju Pal was killed by firing in 2005. Atik Ahmed’s brother Ashraf was accused of this murder. In fact, Atik Ahmed was constantly elected MLA from Allahabad Western seat. In 2004, Atiq was made MP by the SP and the by -election was announced in his seat. The SP gave the ticket to his younger brother Ashraf on Atik’s seat. Pooja Pal’s husband Raju Pal took a ticket from the BSP against Ashraf and won and also became an MLA. It is said that Ashraf did not confess his defeat. A few days after becoming an MLA, Raju Pal was surrounded and firing was fired and killed. However, the circumstances later changed rapidly. Pooja Pal joined Samajwadi Party. In the 2022 election too, Pooja Pal was also elected MLA from Chail seat of Kaushambi on the ticket of SP.
