In view of Urs-e-Ala Hazrat in Bareilly, the District Magistrate has issued an order to close educational institutions on August 18, 19 and 20. This decision has been taken with the aim of safety of students and maintaining traffic system in the city.
According to the order issued, there is a possibility of arrival of Muridas (devotees) in a large number of Muridas (devotees) in Urs, which can cause jams in the city. In view of this, it has been decided to keep 10 schools in the city closed for three days.

- FR Islamians Inter College
- Kasturba Municipal Corporation Girls Inter College
- Khalil Uma Vidyalaya
- SV inter college
- DAV Kalicharan Uma Vidyalaya
- Rambhrose Lal Girls Inter College
- Tilak inter college
- PMSI Government Inter College
- Government Girls Inter College
All schools colleges will be closed on August 20
On August 20, on the last day of Urs, all the educational institutions related to the UP Board, Basic Education Council, CBSE, ICSE Board located in the city, technical colleges, colleges, ITIs and polytechnic educational institutions will remain closed. If the predetermined examination is already fixed in a university, college or any other educational institution, it will be conducted at its scheduled time.
Root diversion will be applicable in the city
The traffic police has implemented a three-day route diversion after seeing the large number of Zarine coming from India and abroad on Urs-e-Rajvi in Bareilly. This diversion will be effective till the end of the proposed Urs from Monday to Wednesday. Many avenues of heavy and light vehicles will be affected by this. The old roadways bus stand will also be closed. Buses will be operated from the satellite stand.
