Washington
Questions are raised in his house regarding Donald Trump’s foreign policy. Ever since Trump became President, he has been trying to get a ceasefire in Ukraine. However, no one is feeling their way. Donald Trump is imposing tariffs on India on one side to trade with Russia, while on the other side, they are not even openly supporting Ukraine. The meeting between President Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska was also inconclusive.
America’s Foreign Affairs Committee of Democrats has said that the Ukraine war is not going to stop by imposing 50 percent tariff on India. The committee said that Donald Trump should punish Russia directly and send its army to Ukraine. Earlier, American Treasury Secretary Scott Besant had said that if there is no talk between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, then additional fees can be imposed on India.
The House Foreign Affairs Committee said on social media, “If Trump really wants peace in Ukraine, he should deal with Putin.” Forces should be sent to Ukraine. Also, whatever Donald Trump is doing, all is useless. Speaking to Bloomberg TV on Thursday, Besant said that India would be considered banning after Alaska meeting.
The Democratic House Panel does not agree with the decision of Donald Trump. Donald Trump wants to force Russia to accept his terms by putting pressure on India. India buys 40 percent oil from Russia. In such a situation, Trump believes that if India reduces oil purchases from Russia, then Russia will also be suppressed and will accept America. However, India has clearly stated that it is not going to come under any kind of pressure. The Prime Minister also narrated Donald Trump from the Red Fort and said that some steps are being taken due to financial interests. In such a situation, we need to make our streak bigger.
