The government of tamil nadu has launched an innovative whatsapp-spoiled chatbot aimed at improving the accessibility of public services for its citizens. This Initiative was officially Announced during a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony Attended by It Minister Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan and Principal Secretary Brajendra Navnit. With this new system, Residents can conveniently access 50 different government services through a single contact number.
Available in Both Tamil and English, The Chatbot Allows Users to File Complaints, Pay Utility Bills Like Electricity and Water, Settle Municipal Taxes, and Eveen Purchase Metro Tickets.
Officials Emphasized that this initiative aims to minimize the need for citizens to visit service centers, brings essential services directly to their mobile devices. “The chatbot will enable access to government services anytime and anyware,” They noted.
