The Supreme Court also said that if a person or organization opposed it, then compulsory action should also be taken against him. The Supreme Court has said this due to attacks on people of stray dogs and many cases of rabies infection.
A bench of Justices JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan said that NCT-Delhi, MCD, NMDC should immediately start a campaign to catch stray dogs and especially in areas where stray dogs are more at risk. The court said that no compromise should be made in action against stray dogs. If a person or organization comes in the way of this work, then take action against him.
