The small session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was uproar for the second consecutive day on the incident of Fatehpur. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Excise Minister Nitin Aggarwal and Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh accused the opposition of deliberately spreading chaos and taking political advantage.

Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that the Leader of Opposition raised the incident in Fatehpur, to which he gave a detailed reply at the same time. “FIR is registered under Crime No. 319. A report has been filed against 10 nominated and 150 unidentified people. The sections in which the case has been done is serious and the culprits will be punished after deliberations. Pappu Chauhan’s name has come out, who have been extracted from the Samajwadi Party. Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that the issue on which the opposition created a ruckus has already been registered and action is underway. The opposition has no issue, nor vision. These people contest elections on the basis of hooliganism and run the government, so they do not trust democracy. In the Fatehpur case, whether SP worker or someone else, action is fixed.
The three ministers said in one voice that the government will move forward under the law and no one will be allowed to spoil the political or communal environment. The opposition should calm down after the facts, but they interrupted and obstructed the functioning of the public.
