Shukla shared her views on the social media site X before flying for this homecoming trip. He wrote, “I have a lot of feelings in my heart as soon as I sit in the plane to come back to India. I am sad to leave the magnificent people who have been my friends and family during this mission for the last one year. I am excited to meet all my friends, family and all the people of the country for the first time after the mission. I think this is life… everything together.”

He further wrote, “It is a little difficult to say goodbye but we should keep moving forward in life as my commander Pagi says that ‘the only stable thing is a change in space flight’. I believe that this thing also applies to life. Let us tell you that Shubhanshu Shukla went to space with the mission to gather experiences for India’s Gagan Yan Mission. Here on 26 June, he joined the space station, where he did many experiments. According to ISRO, Shukla made several experiments at the International Space Station and Space Shuttle, and it is expected that their findings will directly help the Gaganyaan project.
