Ahil son Sakhawat, a ten -year -old resident of Titouli, a village in Fatehganj Western in Bareilly, was strangled to death in the forest of the royal area. The killer came out of his fungus brother 28 -year -old Wasim son Nafees. During the encounter, the police shot him and arrested him under the knee. On getting the information, SSP Anurag Arya reached the spot and took stock of the incident at night.
SP North Mukesh Chandra Mishra said that Sakhawat reported the disappearance of son Ahil from 5 pm at the police station at around 10:30 pm on Sunday night. The team gathered in search of Ahil. Meanwhile, a message came to seek a ransom of ten lakh rupees from the unknown number on Sakhawat’s mobile. During the investigation, the police found CCTV footage, in which Ahil’s pleasure brother Wasim showed him to the royal by bike.
Accused confession incident
Wasim was arrested after investigation. During interrogation, he admitted to Ahil’s kidnapping. Said that Ahil’s father i.e. his maternal uncle asked for a ransom of ten lakh rupees. When he came to know that Mama Sakhawat was in contact with the police, the police station took him to the forest of Vikrampur village in the royal area and killed Ahil with a blade. Then the body hid in the bushes.
During the recovery, two bullets were fired on the police
According to the police, when the police took the accused Wasim to search for the bike used in the incident and the blade used in the murder of Ahil, he took out the pistol from the bike’s bag and fired on the police team with the intention of killing him. The police defended themselves and fired in self -defense. This led to two bullets in both the crosses of Wasim and fell. The injured accused has been admitted to the hospital.
