Gaikwad Reflects on His Best Knock

During the post-match interview, Gaikwad described his maiden ODI century as his finest performance across all formats, particularly noting the difficulties of batting at the number four position. He stated, “Yes, this is my best knock. Batting at number four presents its own challenges.”

Insights into his batting strategy

Gaikwad elaborated on his approach to batting, emphasizing the importance of playing through the first 40-45 overs. He mentioned, “I focus on rotating the strike and identifying boundary opportunities. It’s crucial to settle in during the initial 10-15 balls and maintain my process.
