Pakistan’s new Army on Independence Day: Rocket Force will be formed, controversial claim on Operation Sindoor

Pakistan has announced the formation of a new force ‘Army Rocket Force’ equipped with advanced technology, which will prove to be “extremely important” to strengthen the country’s fighter capabilities. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif made the announcement at an event organized to commemorate the 79th Independence Day and the recent military conflict with India. Announcing the formation of the Army Rocket Force Command, Prime Minister Sharif said, “This is an important milestone in expanding the country’s military reaction capacity.” However, he did not give any further information about the new force or its responsibilities.

The new force of Pakistan is clearly inspired by its evergreen ally’s People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force, which controls the arsenal of both nuclear and traditional ballistic, hypersonic, cruise missiles. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan had a “big victory” in May in the military conflict between Pakistan and India. He claimed that “India’s ego was shattered in just four days…. He thanked US President Donald Trump and said that he intervened for” the ceasefire between India and Pakistan “. He said that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions.
