NSS Camp Wraps Up with Enthusiasm

The week-long National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp held at Government Senior Secondary School in Hobar, located in the Bhatiyat Assembly constituency, concluded on a high note. The closing ceremony featured Mrs. Bina Devi, the Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Hobar, as the chief guest.

The event commenced with NSS volunteers saluting the chief guest, followed by a Saraswati Vandana, a welcome song, and the NSS anthem. Participants displayed cultural performances and shared reports on various social initiatives conducted during the camp, which included awareness rallies, cleanliness campaigns, and personality development workshops.

During her speech, Mrs. Bina Devi urged students to engage actively in community service and participate in social welfare initiatives. She emphasized that programs like NSS foster leadership skills, discipline, a spirit of service, and social responsibility among the youth. She commended the school management, program officers, and volunteers for their contributions to the camp’s success.

The ceremony was attended by Principal Mr. Praveen Kumar Singh, NSS Program Officers Mr. Sonu Kumar and Mrs. Seema Kumari, along with teachers, local dignitaries, volunteers, and students from nearby schools.
