Nitin Gadkari’s statement: One day unbroken India will become, division was unnatural

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari advocated making India a superpower and ‘Vishwaguru’ and said on Thursday that if India becomes strong in every field, the world will definitely listen to it. The Minister of Road Transport and Highways was addressing a gathering at an event on the occasion of ‘Akhand Bharat Sankalp Divas’ organized by the Nation Construction Committee (Social Organization) in Nagpur.

Gadkari said, ‘We remember this day because on this day in 1947, the country was divided into two parts – India and Pakistan. We all accept as a mission that the division of our country was unnatural and one day our country will be ‘unbroken’, we take this resolution in this program today. He appreciated unity in India’s diversity and the armed forces of the country.

The Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make India a five thousand billion dollar economy and the third largest economy in the world as well as ‘self-reliant’ and ‘world guru’. He said that all these resolutions will be achieved through the efforts of every Indian.

He said, ‘If we are strong in every field, then surely the world will listen to us. Those who are strong in economy, defense, science and technology and those who are progressing in agriculture and trade and the country whose citizens are patriotic and cultured, can become a world guru. Gadkari praised the Nation Construction Committee for bringing the idea of ‘Akhand Bharat’ among the people.

He said, ‘Today, when we are pledging for’ unbroken India ‘, we should also take a pledge to become a superpower that is progressive, prosperous and powerful.’ Gadkari expressed concern over road accidents and emphasized the importance of creating awareness among the youth about following road safety rules.
