To commemorate the Fifth Tribal Pride Day, the AYUSH Department in Chamba hosted a health camp in Khani village, located in the Gram Panchayat Khani of Tehsil Bharmaur. This initiative took place on November 13, 2025, under the leadership of the Additional District Magistrate, aiming to enhance healthcare accessibility for the tribal population.

Supervised by District AYUSH Officer Dr. Sharad Trivedi, the camp provided health assessments for 76 participants. Among those checked, 31 individuals underwent sugar level tests, 16 had hemoglobin evaluations, and many others received blood pressure checks.

Medical professionals distributed medications based on their findings and provided lifestyle advice, highlighting the significance of integrating yoga into everyday life. Attendees also participated in yoga sessions and received educational materials on Ayurveda.

Dr. Trivedi mentioned that the camp’s success was largely due to the prior awareness efforts led by Sub-Divisional AYUSH Medical Officer Dr. Anuradha, which encouraged strong community participation.

The camp was supported by a committed team, including Dr. Rajendra Singh Thakur, Dr. Seema Kumari, Ayurvedic Pharmacy Officer Dalip Jaryal, Rakesh Kumar, Subhash Kumar (Class IV), Yoga Guide Manisha, and Daulat. Dr. Anuradha played a crucial role in coordinating the event to ensure its effectiveness.
