According to the information, the water level of Yamuna river is increasing rapidly and can reach Danger level at any time. In fact, all 18 gates of Hathinikund barrage have been opened due to the rise in the water level of Yamuna river in Haryana. This has been done for the first time this season.
Yamuna water can cross Danger Level on these days
A consultation issued by the Central Water Commission on Sunday stated that the water level of Yamuna river in Delhi is likely to reach 206 meters by 19 August, which will cross the 205.33 meter danger (Danger Level). Yesterday at around seven o’clock, the river has crossed the Warning Level and reached a 204.60 meter mark on the old railway bridge.
Explain that the warning level for Delhi is 204.50 meters, while the danger level is 205.33 meters. At the same time, the work of evacuating people living in areas near Yamuna starts at 206 meters.

Here the water of Yamuna has reached 204.60 meters, while the level of warning is 204.50 meters. That is, there is a water level of 10 cm higher than the warning level and if the water level reaches 205.33 meters, it will be considered beyond the danger mark and then as soon as this water will increase slightly, the work of removing people from the lower area will start.

Apart from this, 45 thousand 620 cusecs of water is being released every hour from Wazirabad barrage. This water reaches Delhi within 48 to 50 hours. That is, the coming time is heavy for Delhi.
According to the information, the water level of Yamuna can go above 206 meters at around 2 pm on the Delhi Railway Bridge. If more water is released from Wazirabad and Okhla barrage, then the situation can become more serious. The government has appealed to the people living in low -lying areas to be cautious and to go to safe places in time.
