On the day of Rakshabandhan, a sudden fire broke out at the Kosmos Hospital in Anand Vihar, Delhi, causing chaos in the hospital. Some oxygen cylinders also occurred in the grip of the fire, making the situation even more serious. However, in time, the team of Delhi Fire Brigade started the rescue operation and shifted patients to a safe place. During this time a housekeeping staff died, while four people fainted. Fierce fire from short circuit
According to local sources and hospital staff, the fire was caused by a short circuit. After this, there was a blast in two to three oxygen cylinders in the hospital, which made the situation even more serious. Three fire tender teams of Delhi Fire Brigade immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation. He removed the patients through the burst glasses due to the smoke filled and they were shifted to the Pushpanjali Hospital.

A housekeeping staff dies, four people unconscious
During the fire, the hospital’s housekeeping staff Amit had locked himself in a store room. He died due to suffocation. In addition, four other people have fainted, of which it is not yet clear whether they are patients or timidars. The fire brigade team took out everyone safely in time, which averted a major accident.
