State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Mathura on Saturday on the auspicious occasion of Lord Krishna’s 5252nd birth anniversary. During this time, he participated in the honor ceremony of revered saints and saints held at Panchajanya Auditorium in Dampier Nagar, Mathura. On this occasion, he gifted 118 development projects costing about Rs 646 crore to Mathura-Vrindavan and announced a new action plan of Rs 30,000 crore for the overall development of Brijkshetra.

The Chief Minister said in his address that we are becoming witnesses of mythological history of five thousand years. Devotees from the country and the world have gathered here with devotional expressions on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Sri Krishna is settled in the holy soil of Mathura and its Raj-Raj. It is rare to meet such a devotion elsewhere in the world. Greetings to this holy land. Happy Janmashtami to all. He said that for the last several years, he is getting the privilege of joining the events like Rangotsav and Shri Krishna Janmashtami in Mathura. He talked about establishing India as a confluence of spirituality and modern development, whose inspiration comes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Yogi said that the whole world is keen on research on India’s spiritual heritage. Whenever the world has to overcome the crisis, the spiritual heritage of India will pave the way for permanent peace and harmony.

Announcement of 30 thousand crore action plan for Brijkshetra
The Chief Minister announced a new action plan of 30 thousand crore rupees for the overall development of Brijkshetra. He said that this action plan will connect pilgrimage sites like Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana and Gokul to the memories of Dwapara Yuga. He said, “Our government is committed to respecting the feelings of revered saints and promoting Brijkshetra. We are making the tasks possible which were once considered impossible.” Giving the example of the grand Ram temple in Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Ayodhya, he said that his imagination seemed impossible 10 years ago, but today he has come true. In Kashi, where 50 devotees were unable to see together earlier, 50 thousand devotees can see together today. The grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is bringing alive the memory of Tretayuga. Similarly, the construction of a grand corridor in Vindhyavasini Dham has also been completed.

Commitment
Giving the example of the cleanliness and avidity of the Ganges, the Chief Minister said that Ganga has become a bath and alert today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “About 67 crore devotees had taken a dip in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh of 2025. Similarly, the double engine government is working with full honesty for Yamuna’s avidity and cleanliness.” Referring to the ropeway facility in Barsana, he said that this is a big relief for the elderly. He said, “The benefit of development is that we are continuously working for the convenience and safety of the devotees.”

Sri Krishna avatar was for the protection of gentlemen and killing the wicked
Recalling the purpose of the birth of Lord Krishna, the Chief Minister said that he had an incarnation for the protection of gentlemen and killing the wicked. He turned the battlefield into Dharmabhoomi. Yogi said, “Sri Krishna’s inspiration of Nishkam Karma gives us strength. As long as this inspiration is among us, no one can do our hair.” Referring to the completion of 78 years of India’s independence, he said that Prime Minister Modi has laid new resolutions for the Shatabdi Festival of Independence (2047). Referring to the 24 -hour discussion in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, he said that by 2047, the society and the government will have to work together to make Uttar Pradesh prosperous and develop.

Projects ranging from parikrama route to environmental protection are included
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 118 development projects worth Rs 646 crore for Mathura-Vrindavan. In this, 80 projects were inaugurated which costs around Rs 273 crore. At the same time, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 38 projects, which cost around Rs 373 crore. These projects include beautification of parikrama routes, entrance, renovation of kundas, convenience of devotees, connectivity, water conservation and environmental protection. He described the organizing of bhajan-kirtan and Shri Krishna Leela in the Panchajanya Auditorium as part of the devotional atmosphere. The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the public representatives and saints, with the help of which proposals for the development of Brijkshetra were approved. He said that the government and society together are committed to preserving and promoting the spiritual and cultural heritage of India.

Chief Minister celebrated the birth anniversary by feeding children, feeding kheer
On the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took six children disguised as Kanha and Radharani in his lap and caressed them. The CM also fed Kheer to the children with his hands, as well as their Annaprashan Sanskar. This made all the people present there emotional. He applied tilak on the forehead of the children, garlanded pearls and presented them toys. Devotees were overwhelmed after seeing this spontaneous sentiment of CM.

Chief Minister honored saints
The Chief Minister honored the saints. On this occasion, he honored Param Pujya Shri Phuldol Bihari Lal Ji, Harishankar Naga Ji, Anant Prabhu Ji, Balram Baba Ji, Sudikshna Das Ji, Ram Devanand Ji, Sanant Kumar ji, Ladli Ji Das, Anantacharya Ji, Jayaramdas ji, Krishna Devi Ji, Madhavdas ji, Ladli ji and Nrityadas ji.

Documentary film released and observation
During the ceremony, the documentary film based on the glory of the circumambulation of Govardhan Parvat was released and visited. This documentary film has been prepared by Shruti Anandita Verma. The Chief Minister honored Shruti Anandita Verma for this documentary.
