All seven accused, including Sadhvi Pragya Thakur in the 17 -year -old Malegaon blast case, were acquitted by the NIA court on Thursday. After the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya and Colonel Purohit etc. in 2008, the tone of veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh, who allegedly used words like ‘Hindu terrorism’, has changed. The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has said that neither Hindu is a terrorist nor a Muslim is a terrorist.

Digvijay Singh said in a conversation with PTI in the Parliament complex that it is not right to connect any religion with terrorism. Digvijay Singh said, ‘Neither Hindu terrorism is there nor Islamic terrorism. Every religion is a symbol of love, non -violence, harmony. Neither Hindu can be a terrorist nor a Muslim, nor a Sikh nor a Christian. There are only a few people who make religion a weapon like hatred. When it is said that the BJP accuses the Congress of giving the word ‘Hindu Terror’, the former CM said, ‘Absolutely wrong.’

BJP leaders allege that after the Malegaon blast, people like Sadhvi Pragya and Colonel Purohit were incorrectly implicated and words like ‘Hindu terrorism, saffron terrorism’ were coined. Some leaders like Digvijay Singh were accused of using such words. Digvijay Singh later clarified that he had called Sanghi terrorism, not saffron terrorism.

BJP has been surrounded by Digvijay Singh

Actually, Digvijay Singh has been the BJP’s target on the issue of Hindu terrorism. The BJP has been alleging that Digvijay Singh had created the theory of Hindu terrorism to defame Hindus. Even in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP raised the issue of Hindu terrorism against Digvijay Singh. In order to strengthen this issue, BJP had fielded Sadhvi Pragya against her. Sadhvi Pragya defeated Digvijay Singh by three lakh votes in that election.

The appeasement loving leaders of the Congress, including the first family of the Congress, the then Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar, then P Chidambaram and the brand ambassador of appeasement, Digvijay Singh, will you apologize to Hindus.

Seven years ago, Digvijay Singh had raised controversy using the word ‘Hinduism terrorist’.
