Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised TDP MP Applanayedu Kalisatti from Vijayanagaram. Kalisatti came into the limelight last year after announcing the reward on the third child. He arrived on Monday to meet the Prime Minister with Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. After meeting PM Modi, Alappanayedu said that the Prime Minister was praising his hard work, dedication and new ideas.

Who is Alappanayedu Kalisatti
Kalisatti is an MP from Vijayanagaram Lok Sabha Seet of Andhra Pradesh. He has come into the limelight many times about his statements. In March 2025, he announced that if the third child was born, he would give women a gift from his salary. He had said that if the third son is born, then a reward of 50 thousand rupees will be given to the mother and the third daughter. He has several times appealed to women to have more than two children. He was also highly praised in the state for the announcement of Appalanayedu. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also appreciated his move. Chandrababu Naidu also appealed to increase the population in the state.

CM Chandrababu Naidu had said that the decreasing population in the south states is a matter of concern. He had said that the population of states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is increasing and there is more number of youth. In such a situation, there is a need to increase the population in the south. Talking about the BJP, many leaders are seen talking about population control. The TDP is also an ally at the Center of NDA. Despite this, he is a supporter of increasing the population.
