The Congress also fears flaws in the voter lists of Madhya Pradesh amid objection to the Election Commission for the Bihar assembly elections. To find this, the party will conduct verification at every booth level of the state.

On the instructions of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi Rahul Gandhi, the national leadership of the party has asked the state unit to verify the voter list. According to the state officials, 65 thousand workers will be verified at all booths. Its report will be sent to the party’s national leadership. Objection will be lodged in the Election Commission by raising the issue on getting flaws.
24 names were removed after complaints
Explain that former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh and other Congress leaders have claimed that there was a huge disturbance in the voter list before the 2018 assembly elections. About 24 names were removed after the party’s complaint. In the 2023 election, complaints were also made including evidence, some of which were also processed. The party has decided that the list will be investigated through booth level agents.
The change that took place after revision of the voter list in the 2023 assembly and the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 will be investigated. Both will go to the polling stations after taking the voter list for the time of elections. State Organization General Secretary of Congress Sanjay Kamle says that it has been decided to conduct an inquiry into the voter list in Madhya Pradesh. This month, 230 will be appointed in charge of the assembly. The party’s 65 thousand booth level agents will see the situation. Everyone will be seen from the list whose names are removed, pairs or modified. The report will be sent to the party headquarters and will also go to the Election Commission.
Get an inquiry, no harm but do not focus on a particular class
