The allegations of being casteist against the Yogi government in the deployment of district magistrates are baseless. In 2017, the government of UP changed and Yogi Adityanath is a saint, but Yogi Adityanath is a saint, but he is also seen as a Kshatriya due to being born in a Kshatriya family. His opponents keep surrounding him by calling him Thakurists. For this, the most important was to know the reality of those allegations of the opposition, in which Yogi Adityanath is said to be Thakurist. Even on public forums, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has been making these allegations.
First of all, investigated the list of District Magistrates of all 75 districts of UP and investigated it. There are DM Thakur of only 12 districts in 75 districts of UP. In such a situation, if we talk about the caste ratio, then this figure is 16 percent, while in the SP government too, Thakur District Magistrate was posted between 12 and 14 in UP and Akhilesh Yadav was the Chief Minister. How many DMs coming from the Brahmin class in the state, because the Chief Minister Yogi Adityath is also accused of being anti-Brahmins. It was revealed in our investigation that there are District Magistrates Brahmins of 19 districts in 75 districts of UP, while in Akhilesh Yadav’s government this number was between 12 and 14. If we talk about proportional data, then this figure is about 25.5%. In 75 districts of UP, DMs of 21 districts come from backward class-other backward classes. In this, many officers also have command of big metros. Whereas, in Akhilesh Yadav’s government, this figure was around this.
The District Magistrates of 11 districts of UP come from Scheduled Castes and Tribes, while in Akhilesh Yadav’s government this figure was even less. DMs of 11 districts of UP come from general category, the number of Brahmin District Magistrates in 75 districts is 25.5 percent. The number of Kshatriya District Magistrates is 16 percent. At the same time, the number of district officials associated with the OBC category is about 29 percent. The number of District Magistrates associated with SC and ST is 14.5 percent and the number of District Magistrates of other general classes (Kayastha, Vaishya etc.) is 14.5 percent. In such a situation, the Yogi government is also almost completing the ratio of reservation in the deployment of District Magistrates.
