On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of India’s independence, Dubai’s famous skyscraper Burj Khalifa was illuminated by the light of the Indian tricolor. At 7:50 pm, a glimpse of the tricolor was seen on the world’s tallest building, which a large number of people gathered to see.
In a video made on this special occasion, it can be clearly seen that as soon as the tricolor appeared on the Burj Khalifa, there was a wave of enthusiasm and pride in the crowd there. Every year on the occasion of Independence Day, showing the tricolor on Burj Khalifa has become a symbol of strong relations between India and the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Indian Consulate in Dubai. During this time the Consul General of India highlighted the achievements of the country. He said that India has made significant progress in many important areas like governance, digital technology, space sector, empowerment of women and defense production. He described these achievements as the basis of India’s bright future.
