Joy bnerjee, the esteemed bengali film actor, passed away on the morning of August 25, 2025, at a private hospital in Kolkata. He was 62 years old. According to Hospital Officials, BANERJEE HADE Been Suforing from Health Issues for a while and was recently admitted due to respiratory problems.
Born on May 23, 1963, Bnerjee Captivated audiences with his roles in notable films such as Nagmati, Chopra, Hirak Jayanti, and Milan Tithi. He Made His Acting Debut AlongSide Debashree Roy in the 1982 Film Aparupa, Directed by Videsh Sarkar.
In addition to his acting career, bnerjee was involved in politics as a member of the BJP’s state committee. He Ran for the Lok Sabha from Birbhum in 2014 and Uluberia in 2019 but was unsuccessful in bot attempts. He also served on the BJP National Executive Committee Starting in 2017, Although his Electoral Pursuits for the party did not yield Victories.
