There was a conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on telephone. During this time the two leaders discussed the Russia-Ukraine war, mutual relations and future plans. PM Modi once again reiterated India’s policy of peace and also invited President Putin to come to India. During this, he also inquired about the recent situation related to Ukraine from Putin.

PM Modi also thanked Putin for this information and reiterated that India always wants a peaceful solution to war. India’s policy is that any struggle should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. During the conversation, the two leaders also discussed the old and strong relations between India and Russia and both agreed that the relations between the two countries would be further strengthened.
Putin invited to come to India
Let me tell you, India and Russia cooperate with each other in many areas, such as energy, defense, space and business. More talks are planned in the coming months to pursue this partnership. PM Modi has also invited President Putin to visit India this year. India-Russia will be the 23rd edition of the annual summit, which will deepen cooperation between the two countries.
