Under the Ayushman scheme, free treatment of up to five lakh rupees is provided to beneficiaries above 70 years of age. The card of these elders has been made, but they are required to update it before November.
The beneficiaries will be able to avail the scheme only after the card is updated. The aim of the Ayushman scheme launched by the Prime Minister is not to face any kind of problem for treatment.
At present, persons aged 70 years and above are being benefited from the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The beneficiaries whose Ayushman card has been made before November, should be updated soon. Also, the elders who have not yet made the card, get it made soon. Cards are being made in district male and women’s hospitals.
