Fatal Incident on Kharia Mithapur Bypass
Jaipur, Nov 15: A tragic accident occurred on the Kharia Mithapur bypass near Bilara, Rajasthan, resulting in the deaths of three young individuals and injuries to eight others. The incident took place when their car, traveling at high speed, overturned after colliding with an animal on the road, as reported by local authorities on Saturday.
The crash caused severe injuries to the remaining passengers, prompting immediate action from local residents who alerted the police. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to begin their investigation.
All eleven individuals in the vehicle were returning to Bilara after attending a social gathering in Jaitaran when the accident happened, according to police officials.
Initial reports suggest that the driver lost control while attempting to avoid an animal that unexpectedly appeared in their path, leading to the vehicle rolling over multiple times.
Three young men, identified as Ravi, Akash, and Abhishek, all aged between 20 and 25, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The injured survivors, including Priyanshu, Suraj, Nitesh, Ajay, another Ravi, Pankaj, Pintu, and Rahul, aged between 20 and 30, were transported to the Bilara trauma center with assistance from local residents who quickly gathered to help.
Community members also rushed to the hospital to support the victims.
The deceased were taken to the Bilara mortuary for post-mortem examinations, as confirmed by police.
According to officials from the Bilara police station, the group was returning from the birthday celebration of the local sarpanch in Bhakarwas when the accident occurred late at night.
Residents have expressed ongoing concerns regarding the frequency of accidents on the Kharia Mithapur bypass, attributing the incidents to stray animals and poor visibility at night.
They highlighted that many lives are lost each year due to this issue.
