Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Sunday that I want to assure the people of the country with PM Modi that before the end of 2026, India’s Logistics Cost will come in a single digit, which will be very important for our export and we will become more competitive.
Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the UER-2 (Urban Extension Road-2) and the Delhi segment of Dwarka Expressway. On this occasion, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the people of Delhi NCR will get great relief from traffic jams from both the projects.

He said about the logistics cost, “If I say that these highways will reduce the problem of traffic jam up to 50 percent in Delhi, then I think there will be no surprise. In these projects, we have connected Delhi from different places. In the road map of PM Modi, the road map has been talked about reducing the logistics cost. The logistics cost of our country is 14 to 16 percent. America’s logistics cost is 12 percent. ” He said that in the study of the Indian Institute Bangalore, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur, it has been said that the cost of our logistics has been reduced by 6 percent due to the road becoming good.

Union Minister Gadkari said that a new link road has also been studied for interconnectivity between high speed corridors in NCR, especially in NCR. This will help in diverting heavy traffic outside the city, especially a plan to give connections from Delhi to Katra Expressway to UER-2. Direct connectivity from Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab to Airport and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be available from UER-2. There is also a connection of Delhi Dehradun Road from UER-2. The alternative travel time for the airport for vehicles coming from Dehradun, which is two to two and a half hours, will now be reduced to 45 minutes.

Regarding further schemes, Union Minister Gadkari said, “There will be noida, Faridabad connectivity from Delhi to Dehradun Expressway, which will work as a bypass from East Delhi. There will also be a direct route from North, South, West Delhi to Noida Faridabad. Will facilitate. ” He informed that AIIMS Mahipalpur Gurugram elevated corridor Mehroli will reduce traffic jam on the inner Outer Ring Road on Gurugram Road.
