The state deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has retaliated on the statement of Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav regarding the incident in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. Pathak accused Akhilesh of making misleading and society -divided statements, saying that the policy of ‘Divide, rule’ of SP and Congress has divided the country and the state in the name of religion, caste, region and language for decades. He said that Akhilesh is trying to take political advantage only through his statements, which can spoil the atmosphere of the state.
BJP’s resolution: appeasement is not of anyone, satisfaction of everyone
The deputy CM said that BJP never does politics of spreading hatred. He insisted that the vision of the BJP government is ‘appeasement is not of anyone, not everyone’s’. The BJP is implementing public welfare policies in the interest of the state with the original mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, everyone’s faith and effort’. He claimed that the riots have been completely controlled under the BJP government’s eight and a half year rule, which the SP is not tolerating. He said that Akhilesh and his associates repeatedly make such statements, which pose a danger of social fabric breakdown.
Status in Fatehpur, government vigilant
Regarding the incident in Abu Nagar of Fatehpur, the deputy CM said that the government has taken it seriously. The situation has been controlled by making both sides aware of the facts. He informed that peace and unity have been ensured by the deployment of teams, PAC and administration of 10 police stations. He claimed that the situation in Fatehpur is completely normal and people claiming the old structure have dispelled peacefully. He appealed to the opposition parties to stop baking political loaves.
SP accused of promoting Hindu-Muslim dispute
The deputy CM accused the Samajwadi Party of strengthening the vote bank by promoting the Hindu-Muslim dispute. He said that leaders like Akhilesh are trying to create unrest by spreading rumors, while the BJP is working towards connecting the society. He insisted that the BJP aims to establish the rule of law and promote good governance.
Achievements of BJP government in the field of education
Referring to the achievements of the BJP government in the field of education of the BJP government, the deputy CM said that education has been done in the state. He informed that more than 27 lakh new children have been enrolled in this year’s ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’. Under Operation Rejuvenation, 19 basic facilities such as drinking water, toilet, electricity, blackboard, furniture and classroom repair have been provided in 96% schools with an investment of ₹ 11,500 crore. In addition, schools have started in all 18 divisions under the Atal Residential School Scheme, where more than 18,000 workers and orphans are being provided free residential education, sports, labs and skill training.
The decline of education in SP Raj
Targeting the SP government, Brajesh Pathak said that education had fallen in the SP Raj. He claimed the 2015 newspapers, claiming that 3.45 crore children were deprived of school during the SP government. In contrast, the BJP government is continuously investing to strengthen education and modernizing schools.
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, describing Akhilesh Yadav’s statements as an attempt to create unrest in the society, said that the BJP government is giving priority to law and order and social unity. He appealed to the opposition to avoid such rhetoric that can harm the peace and development of the state.
