Mayawati’s attack on Fatehpur case, demand to take strict measures from the government

BSP supremo Mayawati has appealed to the Yogi government on the uproar over claiming to be a tomb in Fatehpur that the government should take the matter seriously and take strict steps if needed. He issued a statement on X saying that on the ongoing dispute and uproar over the tomb and temple in the district Fatehpur of UP, the government should not let any community take any such steps that creates communal tension there and mutual brotherhood and harmony also deteriorates. The government must take this matter seriously and take strict steps if needed.

This is the whole matter
On Monday, people of Hindu organizations reached the tomb on the call of BJP District President in the temple and mausoleum disputes in Fatehpur and dropped the barricading and captured the mausoleum for about 20 minutes and during this time the tomb and tombs were also vandalized. Hindu organizations claim that this tomb is Thakurdwara Temple. They waved the saffron flag. Burned incense sticks and shouted slogans. People from other communities also reached the information and stones and assault started. An FIR has been registered against 160 people in the case.
